Your healthy-hair routine between appointments

What you do at home matters as much as what happens in the chair. These are the habits our stylists recommend to almost everyone.

Wash two or three times a week

Daily washing strips natural oils and fades color faster. Dry shampoo on day two buys you time.

Use heat protection every time

Blow-dryers, straighteners and curling irons all cause damage over time. A heat protectant spray takes ten seconds and saves your ends.

Sleep on silk or satin

A silk pillowcase or bonnet reduces friction, frizz and breakage, especially for curly and textured hair.

Trim on schedule

Short styles need a cut every four to six weeks, longer hair every eight to twelve. Book your next appointment before you leave and you’ll never miss it.
